Officials have confirmed it, Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2008, Ingrid Marie Rivera clothes was indeed sabotaged during the competition. Rivera claimed her dress and bathing suit were sprayed with pepper spray which caused redness and itchiness in her skin during the pageant. Despite all the controversy surrounding the competition Rivera still manage to win. Officials believe the person responsible for incident was a volunteer at the pageant not a rival contestant.
