There is yet another side to Lady Saw. We all know her for her X-rated acts on stage but this woman shares the same pain as a lot of the other women out there who also experience infertility. Lady Saw wrote the song “No less than a woman” after having a second miscarriage. Saw in an interview with Star Magazine said she has been ridicule by many people in Jamaica for not being able to have a biological child of her own. Lady Saw whose real name is Marion hall has three adopted children and is in a committed relationship with her partner of 13 years, producer Lloyd James.
She is not giving up without a fight, Saw is sending out the message of infertility to educate those who are insensitive to such subjects. She hopes one day to have a biological child of her own and shares her hope with those women who have similar complications. It takes a woman with great strength and courage to publicly talk about her personal life. I commend Lady Saw for talking out and sharing her story. It’s always nice to see the real person beyond her life as an entertainer. To be quite frank, I never thought Lady Saw had a sensitive side with all of her antics on stage but that’s to show, you don’t judge a book by its cover. >
