Inga Marchand aka Foxy Brown is seeking an early release from prison stating her behavioral problems are due to her hearing problem and battery-operated hearing device not working properly. Foxy Brown was sentence one year in prison for violating her probation stemming from a 2004 assault charge. Since the rapper’s incarceration, she has been thrown in solitary confinement for bad behavior. Browns Lawyer states that her clients career is also at stake” Brown’s lawyer, “If her hearing is damaged any further, it will affect the way she hears and it will affect the way she sings,” Dilimetin said. “It will have dire consequences on her ability to maintain her profession and livelihood.”
Foxy Brown wishes for an early release to travel to a Los Angeles Clinic to have her cochlear implant reprogrammed and repaired. The rapper has already had two failed hearing surgeries in the past. As part of the appeal Brown wrote a letter stating she is worried about her well-being. “I ask you to please take into consideration that my health is in jeopardy”.
Foxy Brown has an upcoming album that is expected to be release on February 5.
