DJ Deva Bratt real name Sheldon Smith is being held in police custody for the alleged sexual assault of a 14 year old girl. The young girl reportedly was walking along Westchester community when she was approached by two men whom she claims dragged her into a room and sexually assaulted her. The following day after the ordeal the girl reported the incident to her guidance counselor at school whom encouraged the young lady to seek medical treatment. Medical officials notified police whom performed a preliminary investigation leading to the arrest of Smith.Apparently this is not the DJ’s first sexual assault case; in fact the DJ was to reappear in court for a sexual offense case involving another 14 year old girl on February 11.

There always seem to be war between one dancehall artist and another. We hear about it all the time, there is the longtime war between Beenie Man and Bounty Killer, the violence erupted feud between Mavado and Vybz Kartel and so the saga continues. Deva Brat and Munga are now up to bat. The two artists are seen on camera physically battling out. 

 Are these feuds really just or are they simply brought on by an artist attempt to make way in their music career?  Drama always seems to sells and what better way to catch the public’s attention than to make headlines. This fight sure has created a lot of Buzz. I guess any publicity is good publicity.
