Widow of Bob Marley, Rita Marley will produce the first biopic of her late husband. The film will chronicle the life of Bob Marley and his 15 year relationship to wife Rita Marley. The autobiography will also take you through his musical career and fight with cancer.

And GUESS who will be playing the role of Rita Marley? No other than her alleged daughter in law, Lauryn Hill. Lauryn Hill in the past has referred to Rohan Marley, the father of her five children as her husband but there have been no evidence to support this claim.

This is what Rita Marley had to say about her daughter in law role in the film.”Lauryn would be ideal (to play me),” said Marley. “She sees my life as her life.

We continue to pay tribute to the man who brought reggae music to the fore front, opening doors for other related genera like dancehall. Bob Marley, a singer, songwriter guitarist and activist was instrumental in creating a voice for many reggae artists today. He is well known for popular hits like “No Woman No Cry”, “Redemption Song “Buffalo Soldier just to name a few. Even though his life was cut short because of cancer, his spirit still lingers on in his music and many still listens and enjoys his music. Bob Marley will always be remembered as one of the greatest reggae artist of all time.
