Vybz Kartel and Aidonia are wanted by police for questioning involving a picture taken with the DJs posing with firearms. The DJs and two others are seen in the photograph posing with high powered firearms. There is no clear story as to how the police got hold of the photograph but the inspector expressed the picture was not tampered with. However, the DJs have refuted those claims and stating the photo is not authentic.

In fume about this whole ordeal the DJs have consulted their lawyer Neita Valeria Robertson and are making a case against the Star for publishing the photo in the news paper.  Aidonia real name Sheldon Lawrence and Vybz Kartel real name Adidjah Palmer have not been formally charged with any crime for they still await questioning.

Deejay, Aidonia formally known as Sheldon Lawrence was arrested in connection with a shooting of a man on Saturday. Aidonia has several hit songs stemming back from 2003 but it was in 2004 that he gained the most recognition with hit song “Lolly”.  The song “Lolly” also made its way on Strictly the Best Vol 33.

According news sources, two men were believed to have vandalized a car belonging to either Aidonia or someone of his entourage.  Reportedly the two men were chased down, beaten and one of them was shot by Aidonia and his crew. Police carried out an investigation and later that night Aidonia and the two men were taken into custody at Grants Pen police station.

The injured man was taken to the hospital while the other man escaped but was killed the following day at Red Hill rd, St Andrew. Police indicated on Sunday around 12:45pm gunmen open fired on Palmer and his friends off a lane on Red Hill rd, St Andrew. Delmar Palmar was rushed to Kingston Hospital where he was pronounced dead. There was no further information available as to condition of the other victims nor whether or not the gunmen were found.
